Please note that the frequency of notifications may differ based on the type of alerts detected by Furbo Camera. To provide you with a clear overview, here are the notification frequencies for each type of alert:
Motion Alerts: Person Alert, Selfie, Activity, Possible Vomit
Motion Alerts are sent every 30 minutes. This means that if your Furbo Camera detects motion or any related activities, you can expect to receive notifications summarizing these events at intervals of up to 30 minutes after the activity was initially detected.
Barking/Meowing: Continuous Barking/Meowing, Dog/Cat Crying
Barking/Meowing Alerts are sent every time this even is detected by Furbo Camera.
Home Emergency: CO/Smoke Alarm, Glass Breaking (beta)
Home Emergency Alerts are sent every time this even is detected by Furbo Camera.
Others: Furbo Camera Connection
A notification is detected each time Furbo Camera disconnection is detected.
If you're experiencing delays with your Activity alerts, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Your Phone Settings:
- If you're using an Android device, ensure that your phone is not in battery-saving mode. This mode can limit background processes and affect your Furbo Camera's ability to send timely alerts.
- For iOS users, skip this step and proceed to the next one.
2. Verify Your Furbo Camera's Internet Connection:
- A stable internet connection is crucial for the Furbo Camera to function correctly. Ensure that your Furbo Camera is properly connected to Wi-Fi, and the signal strength is strong.
3. Try an Alternate Internet Source:
- Sometimes, issues with your home network may cause delays in receiving alerts. To rule out this possibility, try connecting your Furbo Camera to an alternate Wi-Fi network or a mobile hotspot.
- Check if the alerts arrive promptly on the alternate network. If they do, it may indicate an issue with your primary internet connection.
