The "Can't connect to your Furbo" error message means there is an issue with the Bluetooth connection between the Furbo app on the phone and the Furbo dog camera.
If this is your first time plugging in your Furbo into a power source, you should see the white light first. After a minute the white light will turn green. If the light on your Furbo did not turn green after a minute, unplug Furbo and plug it back in.
Make sure your Furbo is showing Green Light.
If you are seeing constant Purple or White light, simply reset your Furbo.
To reset your Furbo, use a pin or a sim ejector and insert it into the back of your Furbo. Make sure the Furbo is plugged in, press and hold for about 5 to 10 seconds until the color of the light changes. Please wait another minute until Furbo's light turns green.
If your Furbo didn't reset or the color of the light remained Purple or White, please try another power adapter to use.
If the reset was successful, restart your setup process.
If this issue persists, the Furbo light is always Green but you are still getting the same error message:
Step 1: Turn off your Smartphone's Bluetooth and Restart your smartphone.
Step 2: While waiting for your Smartphone to restart, unplug your Furbo and plug it back in. Wait until Furbo's light turns green. Restart the setup process.
Step 3: Make sure your Furbo dog camera is broadcasting Bluetooth connection. While the Furbo is on a green light, go to your Smartphone's Bluetooth settings and search for Bluetooth connection. Make sure "Furbo", "F2", or "F2-N" is showing up on the list of connections. If not, try to reset your Furbo but if still not showing up please contact Furbo support immediately.
Step 4: If you've made sure that Furbo is broadcasting Bluetooth but unable to set up, try to use another Smartphone to setup your Furbo.
If none of the above steps works, please contact customer support immediately.
