The Furbo app needs access to some of your smartphone's features for you to enjoy its full functionality.
When you set up your Furbo app, it will request access to those features. If you previously declined access, you may later go to your smartphone's settings to change that.
Some of these smartphone features are:
- Microphone - to talk to your furbaby.
- Memory/Storage - to save snapshots and videos.
- Mobile/Cellular Data - to help you connect to the Furbo using your smartphone's data when you are not home.
- Notifications - to be able to receive Furbo app notifications like the Barking Alert.
- Bluetooth (for iOS device) - to assist in connecting your Furbo to your WiFi during the initial setup.
- Location (for Android device) - to complete the initial setup.
On your iOS device:
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Furbo to open permission settings.
- Change the settings and provide access to your smartphone's features.
On your Android device:
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Applications.
- Go to Furbo to open the app settings.
- Open Permission.
- Change the settings and grant access to your smartphone's features.
- To make sure the app has full network access on your smartphone, open the "All Permission" view by pressing the button with 3 dots on the top left corner of the screen.
- Make sure it has full network access.
